On
On... a late one. Thus complete - later ronnie.
Update:
What's been in my heart, more-oft 'not of God'.
Rightful restraint? Instead, regret. Of not moving-on and forward when should – regret. A retrospective check and balance on my going and doing was 'good'– easy.
Not God . . .
Throughout
Judgement? God doing or said, 'letting' the bad, 'happen'. What might be painful, because..? Personally or wider? There's talk of nations and 'fences'. And our blessings misused, causing trouble to come back on us. All complex, mysterious and could, should be..?
Not prepared – (when am?) – to . . .
Shield
There's hope, and there's faith. David had faith, built on enough 'hopes in God fulfilled' showing him, he could have – Faith. No matter how far from ideal or into the worst; God, “would come through” – He believed this.
A main revelation (for me) in the battle for the nations, is the place of faith.
. . .Shepherd
David is made king and told to shepherd. This image, revealing God's intent, endures. To lead us through. In spite of ourselves, yet – with cooperation. God patiently, never giving up on us.
The way through to where and why? In and about personal, or the local, God leads and works away. And with our such limited years . . .
Evening
Late start. Little rant, if that. Enough to do, least minimal, into the heavenlies-purpose. Declare, what I think – should – and be done. Admit m'bit, get on, etc. Must 'do' more than prattle.
Continuing with the difficult to reconcile readings' of David's life. Their day of pain over Saul's death. . . .
Thirst 2
Not writing yesterday, or easily finding verse/s from today's readings in the brutality and murdering of David's life, got me on a rewind. 'Psalm by/about/instructions' were added later and like the verse numbers etc (breaks in passages) must be watched-out for – held lightly. This one (63) though, most-certainly . . .
Thirst
For personal around-me reasons. Not on the tap today.
Tell them “I love them” says God.
May return and do this write-up later today. For now.
Tell them “I love them” says God.
