Yet Again
The best remedy for broken record syndrome is a 'verses juke-box'. Every time, recount, any ol'bible verse.
All night waking to the unwanted. Such crazy dreaming. Natural induced interruptions or warranted the evil spirits? Upping the disciplined prayer, could suppose the later. Oh hallelujah -- because gonna up some more. Da-da-da.
Wee battle and the breakthrough. Encouragement from hell. (Nb 'hell' used, like say, 'Illuminati'. A catch-all word to reflect a broad yet obscured category. Not used in literal accuracy).
What's undisputed and literal; There's only one final battle in humanity, will I pray, or will I not? Leading to; will some and enough pray or not.
Sums up the state of the world.
Bangin' on yet again. Isn't a brag about doing -- as if -- but a kick-up reminder and theological proposition. Based on sound foundations, yet to hear overturned. This, assuming we get -- God is alive and active, present and responsive.
By prayer, mean attention. This the door. Bible open and all and any awkward. Uncomfortable, accepted. A yelping backlash, that all seems -- most of the time -- me-floundering and struggle on to make good of.
No matter. Read the Bible aright. Get the call and all that matters most. The conclusion why the truthing exercise isn't getting but so very very few unlocked.
The need to 'awake--freak--seek-Jesus' seems remote. The 99.99%. And so goes the Church... And so no need to pray -- because... "God is IN control", so quick to say.
Surely this keeps the prayer down and out. All on a collision course with planet prison. Truth is people are better than their theology in the rare outposts of life.
Nag-nag-nag.
God is able to control as far as. As happs. Out of control? Not in the 'belief' -- yes, God does or doesn't have this -- that a people predestined, will arise and enable. God is unable because we will not do or go.
Hence all the Biblical narrative: Free-will. Not denied by one single Jesus lover for the first 300 years. AD. Then came...
Time ticking. Finish-here in some mins.
Talking which. The sign worth seeing is time itself. Certain popular, Bible-based traditions unpacked. The necessary revelation.
While the ever-growing, suppose untrue-myth, is the clock measures reality. Get this -- without the Bible saying it does but well... does. And God so...
If no free-will doesn't put the kibosh on communing and purpose-full activity -- timelessness will. Present-now is where God and we are.
But to close... by the clock, let's pray. Move from praying best-can always attentive and communicating with God. First major winner, to -- pray by the clock.
Say for an hour, and another later, maybe longer... but hour by hour. Day by...
Legalistic and regimented? Forced and artificial?
What? As if Jesus ever asked anyone the time and spent praying eh. Mmmmm.
