God wants our attention.

Contemporary UK-life screams against this. For many reasons. Leads to abuse of people, families -- society itself, we're told. When nothing in the source, The Bible, countenances this.

As said, there are destructive misreadings. Wrong applications and the why is complex. Takes nuanced discernment. Easier make beliefs and supposed face-level practice the cause.

The other tactic is ever-present oh so moderate, or at least private. Personal and detached. Faith that knows its place. Reasonable sounding and world-accepting.

Already, noted... 'presentation' comes into the mix. Because media -- my take -- is the anti-Christ. Most demon-stuffed, elite lots' religious fount. Spews out to win converts, make disciples.

For a start; To hate those "extreme-ists". Enlightenment over dark ages. Freedom over backward repressive states.

Not sure about T.V. to the internet being so negative and imbued with evil powers? Is this influential and would demarcate the last generation or so with unique kinds of darkness?

This goes with believing the lies. About terror attacks and left/right political paradigms.

If not participating in viewing etc. we do better but do not escape. It's like a mist that's descended upon all. Soaked in stupidity. Emasculate and divide.

This one manifest idol has its supposed rational appeal; The News.

Paul who wrote to those he's visited, saying he came weak and without the eloquence of message. Not one to boast and 'Jesus and death' makes no sense unless caught up in.

Knew only this one thing. One person. One action that drew all evil to defeat -- Christ Crucified. One love. One interest and give attention to.

Didn't involve abstract inner musings and 'faith' but a demonstration of this reality. The power and presence of God.

No surprise and captured. Attention locked-on and all that mattered.

Where's the power? Not once and then, someday past. Today times? Nearest I can find is embarrassing looking yet not-looking embarrassed, most-young, shaking about. To pop songs. To Jesus.

Not the pedestrian sermons with occasional wobbly theology. No, get what's goin' on in the world. All that.

The worship sessions. Quite like this lot. The live streams. Less of a crowd even, or bigger set-up at it. Could be one geezer strumming on and on and on...

Of course be easy pull-apart but reckon is something. Some, God there. Likely. Much. Something.

Am so bored with intellectual titter-tatter with online comments or depleting-yet, debates. Again, the sense I get is 'debate...' so far. Too many freaked at respective descent or challenge. A lotta sectarian appeal and can't take the heat of diversity.

They/we're, amping up to a/some new false-flag/s and it's the Right's turn to get faked-up for the role. And the internet to be the problem-solution... censor deep and wide -- solution.

Might as well, through in, this or these kinds of persons as 'alternative types'. Those claiming the Govt. etc. were and are the terrorists. The package.

As for me. I don't want to know anything. But Christ. Bored with most else and the rest doesn't compare.

Might find where the power -- live, present and direct -- is?

Look about, some testimony of old and pre-T.V. times, speaks of authentic happenings. Today? Where? Who? What said? Done?

We need fresh bread. Needs to be now, not 'then'.

We need God and now. Obsessive attention toward and a receiving relationship. We need God but the lie is -- the creator is absent. Theology that says 'somewhat' = more deflection and door-shut.

The truth above all else is God's active and we groan for the presence and... this person and power.

We are the -- put crude -- tap. The gateway -or- hear the door knocks and...? Turn down the electrics, see the sky-light. Get thirst, want to drink.

All down and up, to what we want, ask, seek and receive. Give and take ground.

There is no greater need than some genuine 'open and convicting' -- nb. that rare combo -- ones with a demonstration of the Spirit's power.

After decades waste. Got nout else to do. And stuff 'wisdom and eloquence' we -- ALL -- need the power of the cross of Christ.
