Tree Talk (2)
Becoming ever crystal for me, God is after a considerable level of trust. Contrasting we-know knowledge and thus, God less than always, necessary. Into a kind of God the top-up. Go so far without, thank you very much -- and then... God needed.
Acquired wisdom in learning and experience, builds and again somehow gives God a rest? Reckoning earned talent or bestowed gifts under-gird and suffice.
Yet, what does it say, is first wisdom? Fear of God.
Fear, here described and a good analogy, might be something like holding a fragile new born babe. The care and attention -- this, that 'fear'.
Awesome wonder (OK '...ruler' on this lyric), and on we go and no surprise, end up tipping into love and praise toward. Sing, dance for, to and about ? Crazy love expressions, which is what we're made to be for. Oblivious to human company. Never mind the culture if need be.
The 'good and evil' in the poem about our beginnings is an archetypal temptation. Not saying, it's something in us, a physiological or a driving inertia. The concept of an 'original sin' and some bias or principle, is post-Bible framing. Not that.
No, the tree is a description of our posture toward God. Our leaning into and on, or off we trod in we-know, or think we do -- knowledge. The tree is in the garden and the natural outcome, or in the mix of progress and now-modernity.
Our reaction.
So, utterances out and most often the way we view and judge others, is pure crackers. Be like a Doc. seeing a swelling at a distance and never benefiting from an X.ray. Playing armchair psyche and not knowing the historical obvious why. And only God seeing the heart.
All-me-is-saying is God's after extraordinary trust, faith and all that is independence-defying stuff. This is why more-libertarian social order is a better reflection, than big and bigger Govt. replacing and discouraging -- at least God connecting ones -- this one on one Holy Spirit engagement.
Related to the desire to hide. Where are you asks the returning and seeking present one.
Nae bother, find and seek protection outside of God. A reasonable line for those whose conscience leads to pacifism. Regardless where we stand and this room to choose and maneuver, we get into trust or fear and that is -- the either or.
Nuff now, on for more taking and tree's tomorrow.
