The Transfer
The Bible... and let's suppose God -- proclaims there are answers for the troubles we're in. Chaos coming from the growing crisis imploding the nations. An understanding based on unpacking of secret histories. This unwanted direction, led by specific generational elites and their religion.
Of course, the timing is hard to tell. Lumbering on for decades, before too severe, is in theory possible but all can change in a shock. The assumption we've at least so-long-before civilisation falls hard, is pure faith-based speculation.
Thoughts of ebb and flow, not so severe, ignore or deny the evidence and trajectory.
A word from God? Could claim this but a rational assessment of current affairs leaves no certainties. And a word? Yet to hear anyone say much and anything convicting.
There's one solution regardless; enough people receive the transfer with God. And intercede.
Recognising there's no amount of human-derived improvements is step-one.
'Step One' eh, talking of which:
Help so-far and the 'strengthening of the individual' is Jordan Petersons' hope. A 'spiritual answer' suggests Russell Brand. With respect and his working 12 steps -- leave us too-vague/so-far and wanting.
Leaves us at the mercy of mass overload. God has a more radical and only way: Die. And live... in the dying, a life that overcomes. No improvements self-derived or effort made in our capacities will do.
We're done for and what's needed: Recognised in a personal life and what it takes to regain relative social order.
Step two. 'Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves...'
(Nb. this latest talk in my thoughts and this post).
Back to the Bible which tells of its times and judgements.
Somewhat parallels. Physical becomes unseen battling. On the ground outworking. While John's Revelation aside, re-understood, post-Christ and the cross.
Revelation and Jesus on the Mount of Olives in the symbolic and the apocalyptic language of its day. Today these verses and passages speak and in-God for re-voicing. To prophesy, a future formed in faith. This the prophetic and for-action view. On the understanding their imminent context and primary fulfilment; Jerusalem and temple's destruction.
So we're freed-up for re-contextualising in God-led purposes. For God's realm to come now, as it is, in God's immediate presence.
Two other views come out of the great error of theology -- Augustine... or, Calvin-ism. The supplanting of extra-Biblical notions. Summed up in 'omniscience' meaning God knows all that ever will happen ahead. No future, all fixed.
A fashionable view, recently conceived, called futurism. Sees the contemporary as a Biblical signs-fulfilling blueprint.
A less popular view places the letters to the churches in Revelation spanning, then to now. The historical view. The 'Babylon whore' in Rome and 'Papacy the anti-Christ' etc. Said to be in the last one, the letter to Laodicea.
Long-enough this post.
Close in a paragraph and time to comment on bro's burning. Done pop. Will do bombs.
The para: Here's a word. Our times do so match that last Rev Ch. letter. As happs. And striking me/here the inditement/our deception. “I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.”
The 'transfer' is we can buy 'gold refined' but cannot 'make' this element as alchemists claim. Given, if willing.
An obnoxious equation that appals the cultural educated and considers discerning. Bible-God says; all we know and see is nothing compared to God and offer for us. To experience and receive is all-embracing and total. Next: Look at followers and way -- shudder and revile. Generally. Finally: Consider beauty and grace outside this and others?
Do sums. No satisfactory answer.
Because it's flawed reasoning. Understandable. Predictable and a Biblical woe.
Those doing the transfer seem not to care too much. Misusing 'chosen' a big reason why. We need... no, I -- need... to make sure the transfer is complete.
Jesus could do nothing. But...
Paul said; I no longer live, but...
We say what? And the world groans waiting.
