'Church', should be the word that describes a local gathering and community, with a form of governance. Instead its been co-opted by denominations. The single debilitating error. Of all the demonic theology and outworking, Orthodox, Catholic, CofE.
Baptists, and certain denominations smaller in number, are a federation of autonomous 'locals' and their building. The liberal, evangelical, spectrum is narrowed or non-existent.
Across all evangelical-like type believers and churches, there's one unspoken rule: Don't be weird, outrageous, urgent about the times we live, don't be anything... but display excessive, Middle Class, 'middle of the road', mild, witty, relaxed, overtures.
The principalities and powers, of the insipid, and feeble.
The Pentecostal (Evangelicals), or Charismatics, are for the same mentality. Albeit, with African etc., cultural baggage.
C-19 has been a blessing for the Church.
