Something Good?
Being a-political on the Lab. Con. etc. front, am I getting my wires crossed in any way engaging in the believed-to-be charade? Guilty pleasure in the upcoming Corbyn-led march to more people-leading accountability. Choosing MP's... revolutionary stuff eh.
Disliking the anti-populist supposed Left or Right and watching them pull faces. Does this fool me into dreaming? Empathy rising yet duped along. False dawns.
Catch myself being so stupid. Like a wild night out and that next morning. Caught up in... well, the word's got to be Hope. Yet, set up to crash.
'Brexit' is a living spewing metaphor for the political con and jammed road. A bit tipsy, although not full-on drunk over the fight to 'leave' and might be, some elite slap back? When all along, what we got, was their ideal result. (Frauded to keep the numbers close-as, my hunch).
Going nowhere but long-term projecting frustration. "Teach you to have a say" the behind smiles shake-down.
Knew hours post-result. Waving and rising nationalism, given small-change, to scream people-power. Set up for double-handed abuse. Whining young ones and city types, peeved at the travel costs. The out-ers kicked with media NLP etc. run-downs. "You voters that want to ruin the finances".
In-ers and out-ers drenched in disappointment.
So should I look at J. Corbyn and take heart next week? Think the squirming huff and puffing matters? Me getting fooled some more.
OK-D, to the word.
Looking for some 'ope and new church moves. Here's what. While never/not, or so far, seen. Embers for a fire. A fellowship of say... fifty, would blow me away. Regular and normal Joe as -- but somehow, got it, and at it.
To illustrate and contrast. The go-public truth-talking scene is helpful on the Burning Blogger, Unz and Saker. Paul Craig... Oh, adding, Mind Renewed. Crimes, as/when.
Otherwise -- dull and around and around, and well... not my cuppa.
For me, the issue is about purpose. The only one Bible-leading wise is for collective individualism. Each one teaches one/give a man, a net, not a fish. More doing likewise, less wanting another and bigger leader.
On the Right-ish side, there's all this 'men to be men' talk. Very, yes and no, re that and my book. No, and the Bible... wise, and 'leadership is male'.
How much talk of leaders is there in the New Testament and what does it suggest? Need more and they are the answer -or- self-efficacy and quaint tag 'body ministry'. I.e. We all far-as become the offices and exercise gifts available? Many as and the whole point. Leaders replicate or are blockers and drains.
Democracy is a co-opted con. What it could mean is meaningful participation for all. With an emphasis on as many as can/should/be involved.
Instead the cult of the expert and named qualified reigns and bludgeons the crowds. "Be seen and not heard you littler than me ones".
Again and New Testament Holy Spirit interpreting leading? The only rule of thumb would be the widest and deepest social power held by many as. Not stated but implicit in more libertarian security. Yes, get Libertarianism has its own deceptive rise as a movement but in the real-time world we live -- less is more.
Fewer few leaders and more leading and empowering and emerging from the ranks. More leaders. More different have-a-go local churches. More freed-up, and unless obviously destructive, diversity of attempts at incarnating Christ.
Less centralising bosses for more likely get some accountability. Hence Anarchists' claims. But again, here/now -- all moves left or right -- into some wider take-up of open involvement is better. This assuming not bullied to bog-off cliques. No, no-platforming etc. No "shut up" can't talk here etc line.
Back to the local church that can't see exists. How has it come to this? The limited moves in the get-togethers. The slave to trad. that don't work and not God-led edifices of activity?
IF, we take the early church, i.e. Book of Acts like. And we extrapolate how/what/might be a way ahead -- we'd be seeing a thousand new experiments and expression. Instead?
Ones -in who like/as are declining in all but the places where it's the church 'suffering'. Everywhere, Christianity's disallowed.
Quick scrappy shabby splurge out.
Had other things to say but got on this and before you know it -- time to get off.
At least am doing, what methinks, we should.
Unprepared and have a go.
Tell you something good?
Only the collapsing church will open some to new ways. Keenies wanting something more. Recognising the merry-go-round of what-we-do isn't producing.
The long slow decline, when the uprise? When... hard to tell? Signs? As and when there's more rock-bottoming. The connection to truth-talk is a factor. Parallels and politics, when we stop believing the lies and liars. Humble ourselves about the phony fake shows is a start. See evidence and stop pretending.
The front-line for the world -- seems to me -- is Idlib and northwest Syria. So Syria goes... so the world. There's this. On the Church of the Living God? It's about two's and three's somewhere fired up and fanatical. Need to be 'awake'... and of course, this puts the 2 or 3% of the UK pop. and Christians into perspective. Might be a few hundred contenders. Of which, this flailing gabbling one would like to be among.
We have -- the only word -- hope. We do. Bible says and God ain't a liar or faker. Say it but... er... not.
God has said we can interrupt the direction. Calls out from the belly of a fish. In death -- resurrection. In this world and now, in and through the love God has for.
Remember this one?
Oh that you would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains might quake at your presence—
Better get this on auto-speak and find another one and another and repeat 'till we see. Up to who? Yup. Up to us -- and God.
This is something good.
