Remain And Leave
The more we know comes awareness, the less we know. Or if truth-seeking -- deeper and wider the conspiracies. History full of fake and subterfuge. Mind-boggling. Evidence, one internet click, from our typical gullible-selves.
Admirable attempts to overturn social corruption, a struggle bearing little fruit. Exasperation and broadcasting aren't taking off. 'We' cannot but... because it's a question of integrity and sanity to attempt but signs aren't promising.
Depletion of motive and censorship. Everyone seeming alone among their circle of sleeping associates and friends. One among, most extended families. An interest at best -- rare, a public-based communicator. And where oh where actions otherwise?
For hope, growing numbers look to 'other realities' to find intellectual solace. Or, understandable; 'eat, drink and be... for tomorrow we...' taken as the last best choice, for any meaning or satisfaction in life.
All the while 'the news' punches out its despondency and distractions, exemplified in Brexit and Trump. Most-say they "don't watch it" but like advertising, it infiltrates. All about reinforcing despair. Regret one side -- bludgeon the other "you're wrong".
What says me/here?
The Bible offers help against the hopeless vision. Something other than the inevitable decline of anything like civilisation.
To take the Brexit-farce and reinterpret the lingo; we're called to 'remain and leave'. Say 'we', mean, me. And anyone trying to sell-out to Jesus.
Remain in contact and commune with God. Leaving all else to do the one emphasis and action described in the Bible.
There's trouble/to God we go/turnaround. Generally, a people or persons, who want this for the wider community and lands. Love for, and the honour and glory of God. On behalf of others, stand and walk about. Sit and kneel.
Intercession: the placing before God ourselves, for all and any amount of time, until...
And this likely extended and for the foreseeable...
Remain there and leave all but.
The encouragement of God for this shows the urgency and need. God wants this. Forget any ambivalence or dispassionate distance.
Of course, this the deep meaning of God and life; God so... and enters in to die for. Give all possible. For what? ALL about 'beyond this'?
For a start, 'beyond' ends up back here. Second: Bible/God doesn't say it's all for giving-up here/this life -- there's a mission to fulfill. Opposition to overcome. This Gospel... proclaimed throughout.... And THEN, the end will come. Not all this futurist spectate whack-theology.
Excuse this last line and snipe but took another look and oh me oh my... aside from flogging a book or DVD's, what are these suppose-prophets bothering for?
It's early here -- I'm late. Need to get off and get on:
God.
