Love and the Timeless God
Hey hey, my my
Rock and roll can never die
There's more to the picture
Than meets the eye.
Hey hey, my my.
Once punk hit, the four singer songwriters, Neil to Van; went to second-hand store -to- songs on the jukebox -to- inclusion in vinyl-based sessions, after the pub's closed. Van got in, with the Blues and Soul, and Black Music. Took years and retrospectives, to dig back in. September '76 lasted a year or three, to co-opted and the crash. Marley died in 1980, so had the garage band, DIY, three-chord wonders.
First note on the Neil Young appraisal? Disrespect, and music since Rock Around The Clock, beginnings.
Who are these oldie goldie, folksie, hippies? Oh so, yesterday...
All it reveals is low, or no-sense of the family trees and homegrown, less-adulterated movements, led by the UK and US.
Van was in the 60's British Explosion. The 70's Glam Rock; late 70's Punk; early 90's Jungle; 2016- UK Hip-Hop, Grime, and Drill. That, ya lot.
May be no one reason, drive or influence for why said Stars declare a contested, political, position? Ain't about sales. Done that. Bob and Van couldn't be gig'n more. Albums on a steady flow from Van. Bob Dylan (1962) to a gap of eight years in 2012, and delivers Rock 'n Roll's, KokeSpiracy.

And they're taking our licenses and license to practice medicine, because we are speaking about these matters, and you can label me however you want to label me I don't care, I've done what I've done in my career. I'm at a stage at 62 years old I've got a farm, it's almost paid off, I raise horses, I love my wife you know, I've been married a long time. My kids are both married, I got grand-kids you know, I don't need this. There's this claim, I'm doing all this because I seek attention —trust me, this is not a fun thing to be doing at this stage. Physicians at FLCCC, in senior positions highly, like Peter Mccullough; people at the at the culmination of exceptional careers. Paul Merrick, an exceptional physician, by any standards —run out of his hospital demeaned destroyed actively attacked trying to take his license. This medicine is being destroyed globally. People are losing faith in the whole system. They're losing faith in the scientific enterprise. They're losing faith in our government. They're losing faith in the vaccine enterprise. I mean, what is going to be the long-term consequences of public health, when you have a large fraction of the population who wasn't anti-vaxxer, (that pejorative), before they're now saying, "oh-my-god...," if this, is how these people make decisions, I don't want anything to do with it? I certainly don't want it jabbed into my kid.
