'Listening' to me… to anyone, and – hearing God? Re-taking this verse to mean, like Jesus says, be careful 'how' you listen. If God 'hears us' wanting to hear, we – will hear, God.

Wanting to hear – God listens.

In listening to human voices, it's not so much we can hear God in and through them – although may-well – but we prepare or damage the ground, that God can sow… speak into: Because of how we listen and to what?

When the voices are no longer audible. Still echo. Reverberate, instilling atmosphere.

To hear God, outside sometime crisis-exceptions, requires we're relaxed. About hearing God.

And for this we most need a surrender, that takes giving up everything. Not for show but because we can't hold and let-go. To be receptive, most… we best, have nothing competing and holding us.

Recently I read (on 'twit'); 'It is difficult to free fools from the chains they revere' (Voltaire). This could be rewritten about 'hearing God'.

We can't rely on God too many times. Never mind how many, we never have, the one right now is all that matters. We don't have because (we) don't ask.

...I'm only beginning to listen to aright. Daily I tap. Perhaps soon, hearing'll become clearer.

Reading this and you don’t doesn't consider yourself a follower of the living God in Jesus, or even necessarily feels/want? Don't try believing what you don't, or perhaps dislike the idea of. Believe only one thing. God claims to be able to communicate sufficient, we can believe… know.

That can't be but fair.

Look for this – what might seem nigh impossible – that God is here, good, fighting-injustice and on a rescue mission, for one and all.

Words speak. Especially Bible-words. Give or invest, just enough... faith – “Could this be God?”
