Making Leads
First need is us. In totality and faith. Untied and present. Nothing but the "blood of Jesus" -- talk and over the past. For me... takes some doing. Remembering to forget. For God says, does. Voluntary amnesia.
There's a place for comparisons and praise. About all. Else, it's a wasting indulgence. There's only one previous moment that ever-speaks; Jesus death. From this came resurrection and The Spirit poured out. Yet, that moment of death is the one time-transcending act other than creation itself.
The reality we seem to -- and do -- inhabit, is now. Immediate. Puzzling adventures in quantum theoretics haggle over 'no distance between unobserved objects' means..?
Bible claims we're in -- time and space. Mysteries can and should be dug about all we like but the mighty observer is God. The tree falls/no one hears/sound or not? With God... all seen, if so-chosen to. Who says God has to? After all, there's forgetting the past. For God. And choosing to remember. As we imaged from, can and do, likewise.
The incarnation is the revelation of limitation that reaches us and resurrects.
Developing physicist speculation appears to show the future is not determined (yet). Bible confirms this -- and for God. Not constrained by a fixed creation. Again, we're made-like and -- argued over as it is -- able to choose. The future for making. For God and through, some of us. More or less.
Want to be that 'some' and God to get 'more'. So, considering the past and future needs disciplined resistance. Almost always, not to consider. As the future is at best -- us, in God's 'hands'.
"How am I doing?" Wrong question.
The current state and mess as far as... because there's too few and so little doing much. Nostalgia and fantasy tomorrow. Plans and opportunities. Normality rules in try live satisfaction and significance.
The early-church eschewed this. Sure, take the context of times into account. But even so. Dismissive fanatics.
A theology that puts the future-set in the mind of God has a choice with free-will. The honest to conclude and Calvinist, stating we have no 'genuine' free-will. Challenged by Arminian, have your cake and eat it -- somehow we do.
Process theology -- note; David Ray Griffin's belief -- emphasises the necessity. And God's said -- limitation. 'Open Theism' pulls back from this. Posits various interpretations within some degree of a future not set.
A range within the key concept of -- again, 'genuine'-- time.
Where is God and this?: In, out, or able to somehow straddle and at least in experiential -- both?
My go-for and thorough conviction; the future is open. Otherwise, the Bible reads as pretending and deceptive. Ain't so. And Classic, i.e. non-Open theology, came to be and defined 300 years after the New Testament. Check roots and the why is understandable but not difficult to unpack as a Greek-led error.
Back to making leads to live in God.
Right-wise and doing something. The one matter most, is to hear God. For non-Open ones, this is news ahead. Revealed what will be. Ultimate and sure as yesterday. Although, strict not-open Arminian's, might be sincere to apply this in freedom. For Open and Process theology it's straight-up realities.
Which is:
We hear to make of. God speaks, to achieve. The very actions of communication from God are to -- Do Something. In fact, the speaking and through us, involve in the fulfilment.
No word first, somewhere and to someone? No action.
Here be, this typing-up. Disclosing and declaring. Which could be; faith, proclamation, prophecy and a releasing 'word'. Bind strong enemies and loose... even.
A readership (or not) is secondary. And there could/should be, a case for my not-writing something, if at all or until? The key-key is leading.
The real next level stage is in private and with God alone. And all else hear or seeing unseen. This precluding no prayer-partner of course. The need to hear God is paramount and most important. We have so little even close to a public expression that's direct in addressing this need. Much that comes thereabouts, filtered through the mix. Upfront and thus saith, not personal to apply or general non-specific? Where oh where art thou?
Written before to readers cannot-assume are here? Looked and can't see where there's been much if at all, alive prophecy. Anything to weigh and consider should 'pray through'?
Nor put forward and have myself, said much. Some colours and moves -- but most all, mixed-in and hardly a clear word.
Stop here. Better it's still early-early.
When God best speaks methinks.
Jesus leading on this. Early in the morning...
