Low Beat
Low beat talk. Read me as y'find me. Self-chastened and using this wee write to help lively up. Need as ever: Discipline. Total for total. This the word. How less than best living sours the soul. Puts down. Makes no-good, seem all-encompassing. Scuffers the trajectory. For some hours. Back on track, takes this. The shock and sadness. Re-lit out and off the struggle.
Lucky and some foresight, didn't go down-down but the mere bristle with, shouts loss. Louder than words. Reflecting actions. All can-do is add more to the fast. And what to say?
Freaky times are all around. The madness and the fury. Prone to bursts of encouraging voices to cry out. Yet, with more grounded visions, place the action in the silence and God-alone stuff. Where this all that remains and most relevant. Last place to go.
'The last thing that's left to me now, is the love of the love, of my...' Best Friend. With respect, and not, '...my own breath' as a masterful lyric/song proclaims. (Doll by Doll - The Human Face).
Blinking screen seem more direct and -- something. Connections and talk, exposures and hope, pressure and change. Look to the email to do my little bit of 'work'. See Paul Craig's coming in and know the choir will get. But who else... and what?
It's an ongoing discovery the walls are brick, wherever turning. Joe and Jane Public, jus' ain't interested. To say 'no-one' isn't an exaggeration. Anymore than making similar claims about those, not-so-far up for God, up to get into. Yes, of course, some hyperbole but this doesn't reframe the empty landscape.
God time the preparation and fulfillment. Discipline -- yup, although where else/go/do what? Options and the boredom this throws back, have me, running...
Into the Silence. Not one to play music anymore. Re-sung on a Jesus tip. Might do this. 'Oh my dear, oh my dear sweet love...' and 'Hymns to the Silence'. It's not even, into the silence, but into God -- in the silence. A way into the action and the active wait. Alive to the presence of the one.
Better do this.
Now.
Tar, if anyone reading, for... bothering and looking at the verse, may the Bible words connect. You/with...
