For he is...

God speaks something to us remaining faithful to the fulfilment. For as long as it takes. We may not necessarily understand much at all, why or what for, but a word truly given should not return void. That’s the word. A word.

God has given some verses. We should keep remembering, recounting. Become them - and live out the fulfilment.

We must trust and if, we live long enough, see this. For others. Always - for this.

‘Daniel and Darius’ is a convoluted story. Parts that speak one way, are contradicted by another. What happens among ‘rulers of of people’, those represented by Darius and co, show moral disconnects and clues about what’s happening today. Here for our discernment and action. I’m getting glimmers but don’t, get it, if much/at all. (Yet?)

Daniel, highly esteemed - in the heavenlies/in heaven (“...if I used exclamation marks”) - doesn’t put a foot wrong. These rep/rulers show us the not easily predictable mixture of aspirations and motives. Speak of our - shadowy Babylon. Those with a somewhat-over-riding, world-view. More or less commonly held zeal/passion. The approximately 6000 super-class, gofering for a handful of more ideological dreamers. Historical families. Those who must be stopped.

How to pray?

All the while there’s a backdrop: God who wants rescue/fulfil future plans. Against enemies of the ‘air’ who cannot, but oppose and destroy, and; God’s angelic ones serving and able. Battling. And then there’s prayer - fasting, thanks and worship.

(I can tell I’m weak in the word today. Must become so much more present and ‘in’ it).

Perhaps it’s about the deception our glossy media portrays about those in charge today. (Cicero’s ‘a nation can survive... But...').

A historically difficult to place/unrecognisable figure. A title; ‘Darius’ of the Medes, with diverse behaviours. Albeit common for the day.

In the end he/they confess a word. And God, then and through to now, uses it to achieve.

The opposite of his proceeding call to prosper is to today’s rallying cry from the Darius cabal. Containing the antitheses of their hopes. They ‘are’/they believe know.... the ‘god’ we must fear and reverence.

Being - my overused term ‘awake’ (aka; lights-on, seen-through-ers, disbelievers of confirmed lairs, plans disclosed readers...) is about knowing this controlled demo and their call to worship the beast.

What stands between this and that?: The promises of God. Signs and wonders that even some of the Darius’s realise the reality of God’s power and bow. The futility of their cause - God-opted, repent.
