Pride in our view of, and dealing with each other, comes from our stupidity about God. Assuming that is, we're believing on and making connections. Not making Jesus claims? No reason not to puff up. No basis except many do, in a kind of who-needs-God virtuous rebellion from a church without love.

Resilient arguments 'against God' are subconscious. Hard heart and little to find 'out there' otherwise. Where the 'see how they love[d] one another'? Occasional glimmer's otherwise, the why and when, for most rare conversions. This or sheer existential hunger but hey, pride tends to keep this at bay.

Involves dealing with material-based uplift and into disregarding of social prejudice. All talk of relating to God is manifest in how we come across to perceived 'losers' and compared to the 'winners'.

How to resolve? Death to all yesterday and tomorrow, thoughts and talk. A protective wall against the besieging and intentional mind-control. All is boasting. Unless God's specific leading forward to something. Then contested and so faith on.

God isn't somewhere else. No other realms or 'heavens' in a different dimension and non-linear movement. When we die, the eternity spoken of is about time never ending not the ending of time. There's no decent overarching Biblical-based argument challenging this. Only assumptions based on theologians, that in more recent consideration, found wanting.

We use our reason to look at scripture in light of progressive revelation and traditions. Conviction found by God's Spirit imparting and this tested among contrary arguments.

In the beginning of creation, God... moved and formed. We're born into the now and all there is.

Essential Christianity is always open to God, vocalised, or thinking and meditation. Completely fanatical sounding and an escape mechanism from people-pride. Our own, most important to relinquish.
