This book is meant to be a companion to "Heretics," and to put the positive side in addition to the negative. Many critics complained of the book called "Heretics" because it merely criticised current philosophies without offering any alternative philosophy. This book is an attempt to answer the challenge. It is unavoidably affirmative and therefore unavoidably autobiographical. The writer has been driven back upon somewhat the same difficulty as that which beset Newman in writing his Apologia; he has been forced to be egotistical only in order to be sincere. While everything else may be different the motive in both cases is the same. It is the purpose of the writer to attempt an explanation, not of whether the Christian Faith can be believed, but of how he personally has come to believe it. The book is therefore arranged upon the positive principle of a riddle and its answer. It deals first with all the writer's own solitary and sincere speculations and then with all the startling style in which they were all suddenly satisfied by the Christian Theology. The writer regards it as amounting to a convincing creed. But if it is not that it is at least a repeated and surprising coincidence.

I - INTRODUCTION IN DEFENCE OF EVERYTHING ELSE

THE only possible excuse for this book is that it is an answer to a challenge. Even a bad shot is dignified when he accepts a duel. When some time ago I published a series of hasty but sincere papers, under the name of "Heretics," several critics for whose intellect I have a warm respect (I may mention specially Mr. G.S.Street) said that it was all very well for me to tell everybody to affirm his cosmic theory, but that I had carefully avoided supporting my precepts with example. "I will begin to worry about my philosophy," said Mr. Street, "when Mr. Chesterton has given us his." It was perhaps an incautious suggestion to make to a person only too ready to write books upon the feeblest provocation. But after all, though Mr. Street has inspired and created this book, he need not read it. If he does read it, he will find that in its pages I have attempted in a vague and personal way, in a set of mental pictures rather than in a series of deductions, to state the philosophy in which I have come to believe. I will not call it my philosophy; for I did not make it. God and humanity made it; and it made me ¹.

It is clear that white liberals have succeeded in destroying the belief of many Americans in the rule of law and the Constitution by denouncing these historic achievements as “tools of white supremacy.”

Some red states have passed laws prohibiting the teaching of the demonization of white Americans in their states. What is likely to happen is that the presstitutes, the intellectuals, and the anti-white US Department of Justice will overthrow the state laws as a form of McCarthyism that prohibits freedom of expression.

In other words, freedom of expression is limited to denunciation of the founding values of the United States as white supremacist and white Americans as “systemic racist oppressors.”

Me and mine, go; 1. The marker, is conviction, proceeding ...evidence, in our actions become ever-more in reliance and desperation, on God's power and presence / somehow?

2. What are the 'proper ways', to understand and express,...God? How about a pop., defined, something preposterous? A Bible-thing to consider is peer-fuelled pride; Expectation for love life to screwed up, bad? Reasons (not), to believe the fiddled-with(?) Gen. to Rev., accounts? Gotta be? Because, so goes and (now), 'well-accepted,' via the pre-digital enlightenment which HD vid., affirms is cobblers, add and warn the vulnerable, is The Top of... the Trouble-maker/s Pops, in a dose of religion, ('overstood')?

3. Dismissing any prize-held confidence in intelligence or psychology reliability to get it, the necessity for God, enabling-us is specific and categorical. All cometh, through encounters with, said to be; God. While the importance and self-rating of our mental and social abilities are proportionate to the increase, and impediment, to receiving what isn't in us, to get?

Take (true and the one's in it, like a Christain), Anarchism? The doing is the way, to say, I'm a..., but no amount of action is a substitute from the definition and historical' social action: No Government, the accepted and all-uniting faith-claim?

Jordan got a bullseye, in the need to initiate and choose to do, that which pertains to reliable discoveries and Godly direction?

How come Jordan can't answer, the Nelly The E., in the middle: WHY can God be believed is about love/ portrayed as, loving...?

Can't lie, or fake, an inevitable uncertainty on the central question that confuses or concerns someone looking into the God of the Bible? Try that with any number of hot potatoes in a controversy that demands dismissal or, conviction? Are we saying the supremo stumbling block is solved through... let it go?

Special, that; in something Jordan insists is all-for avoiding? Yet, the theological fabric and foundation in philosophical terms, are the appear-to-be contradictions about time/space; choice/responsibility; God's knowing, and can remain right-standing in the exercise of truth and justice?

While the cruciform understanding (explained here) of the “God-breathed” nature of Scripture is in tension with the way most talk about inerrancy (See previous post on inerrancy), I do not believe it is at all incompatible with what the Church has always sought to express by affirming the “infallibility” the Scripture. The core conviction is that Scripture will not fail you when you rely on it for the purpose for which it was intended. Even ancient thinkers such as Origen and Augustine understood that one can find mistakes in Scripture if you hold it to the wrong criteria. While “infallible” must be more precisely defined, it does not require us to use modern scientific and historical criteria to evaluate Scripture as does the word “inerrancy.”

Fesh and insight, and gets the loudest, Amen?

All the way, and in Sam, Douglas, and Stephen.

The atheists, more-oft., are the people hang and mates, and get chatter-boxy with. Evangelists, get less joy and face time-wasting haranguing from fellow believing-like, 'friends'.

The harder they come... and all-comers and sceptical to the hilt, are the ones for meaningful engagement.

Bit of bite and balls, emotion and curiosity, are the finest mixes. Know, where you're at, with no-God/gods or otherlies/realms/simulations/multi-verse/s, not, out, there /inside ... or, some, where?

In a whole lotta experience; Never the awkward and difficult conversation. As for the religious rest, the Fundy banging-on comes smiling-out and the self-assured superiority of an enlightened one. The patronising manner and unsaid prejudice is the mud in the water.

Another well-attested observation, mirrored in the media puppeteering, in the main,students and ... Who are the contemporary blindest and above, the old and deemed redundant, religion?

The superior and suspicious of all that Old, or Moderate, outdated ideas. Defining, becomes anti-labelling of an all-encompassing, flux, fluidity and if, ...done DMT?

We should accept the all-relative reality, the new age is upon us. Smell the patchouli oil, and shake-off doubt of absolute one cert. that it's the clouds of unknowing and, us lot/ know it, or, not?/ ....which, of course, no-one is said, does have a clue -or- able to do anything about the mystery that, is/isn't, true?

Until..., the tuned 'n turned-on, all hold-hands in progressive dreams. Everything a circle, guarding against any corresponding cries of outrage, in pondering conservative-type thinking, and put some, breaks on. The risk in the crashing isn't factored in, claiming no-idea about politico/religio-led, malicious and malevolent, wolves looking for dinner?

Came to the clips with Douglas put-off because of qualms and fussing; Sam, bugs me and how unchallenged, and various lines and approaches; and Stephen..., sent me scampering-off, when plugin' the Med./s., under the guise of stigma-busting and our mind/body, upsets and health?

Three single revelations, and a rocket in ya pocket/ a something, different, and altogether, grateful?

Respect and admiration in allowing humility and sensed God-on, and touch? They took the enquiry into the choppy and needs-saying/ hidden and should get the outings, —air. The freestyle and go, straight in like that, shone through for a terrific surprise.
