Three thoughts reappropriated out of this latest theatre -or- tragedy?

One: Religion -- and not even the least thereof -- and Christian, with Judaism tagged on. Seen to be the new 'under attack'. Will extend to its part in cultural and social underpinnings. Disregarded and into overturning by some State bosses. While all seen to shout for some level of defence. Said tension is about progressive inclusion.

First for Jewish people and stuff, next Islam etc. our 'new friends', and finally the Church. White Jesus male and... etc. etc. Dominant institutions in need of a slap down and get in equal-opp's line.

So, One:

Biblical-wise, what's the 'attack' by people, and the influential unseen and destructive, over?

Two: How come talks, sermons etc., are the prominent vehicle for communicating God-messages? At least in being the common view. What's right and wrong about? What's the upshot and the downside?

Three: Isn't it hot and vital 'faith' to respond to trouble or terror in a God-attentive manner? Shot, a dead listener, shouldn't the congregation see some defiance?

Of course, on this one, it comes over as someone missing a few psychological bolts. Someone laying there shot and dying, or dead -- but hey, the talk must go on? Come ye on?

Quick as gagging for an explanation but ain't up to/be bothered.

One: The attacks have a hierarchy and evil's target. Go way past buildings to people. Get specific and Christians. Who and what they represent. How about what mission's occurring -- this? The sermon representing the cause. The genuine and 'persecuted church' stopped in their proclaiming, without a doubt's significant.

On to... it's an attack on God, on Jesus, for when you prosecute them...

There are two strategic top-goals. To dismantle, distract-off and succeed in stopping:

The Word and our Faith. Which is all about praying.

As I harp on: no time today to elaborate but take a New-Testament-look?

Nowadays translated: The bible read and our faith in heartfelt response.

The final opposing challenge. Here's how Luke has it:

A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds ate it up.

Two: Talking to a crowd has Biblical precedent but got and contemporary-wise went... all skew-whiff. Aka; tradition killing the life-about.

So much, could tap away, about this. Suffice and all evident once reason and scripture -- with and trust Holy Spirit help -- are sought.

On this one, we go back to nos. One. It's 'the word' the opposition hates -- not 'talks'. Or, could say, it's the living word in any talk that matters. Best talks, make you want to open the bible yourself.

On to 'three' and off.

Ain't nebulous 'church' or the tawkin' or the even the bible -- but our response.

One big need: Faith in God and what's coming over. Live and direct. And personal.

Hence to do 'Christianity' takes an obsessive push to breakthrough and discipline into.

Into the books and verses and a mulling come believing soak-up.

Jesus is the lens which to read the Book/s. Talks so little about enemy forces/with personality. What little is enough. Rather than speculating beyond... STOP. Accept his diagnosis and reaction to remedy to disrupt the opposition and draw in the new realm of God on earth.

Yeah. It comes down to seeking to read/listen to an audio version. Receive and in this be 'hearing' for self. Respond in believing.

Once here... ready for action.
