Anyone Read The End Of The Book
The first step in a journey ‘n all that (posting here. Planting…).
Don’t, and do – care what pleases ‘men’. In doing best-can and desiring God gets through. Less, self-conscious, more God...
Oh that? And more of.
Writing as I play Steffany and fam.
The little we… I have, give thanks for. Could get down on and deconstruct Bethel (local church, clip is from) kind of ways and wherefores. Thankfully – here I go again – this lot, have moved some steps, out of traditional stumbling-block theology. They’d be hounded even more-so, if kept going.
Christians/evangelicals, rarely and reluctantly make adjustments. Old and seemingly established, is considered better. What’s been, or becoming, lost? Regained, with a modern twist. Different aesthetic ambiance and hymnal. Screens for books. No dress code. Band, for an organ or acapella.
Note how much is about – in this and typically – the Sunday Service.
As for living thinking. What do and this is God? Older best examples, held. While re-discovering, making for new, is the right combo. Newer approaches to theology and practice-wise, closer to the pre-400 AD major junction. At least in these first three hundred years, room and not all restricted, in what Christ and the early church might mean, before Augustine etc and narrowing agenda. Openness.
And somehow what we believe, most reliably, the good book's intent is.
Agreed among sufficient numbers and ‘confirmed in the mouth of... witnesses’.
“Prophecy to” yelps the gal with the mic.
But then we get into yes and... – re my quib, interpreting the worship leader's interlude and; what’s the ‘whole world’ -and- what’s ‘in God’s hands’?
How to hold and yet, know what, we don’t – and why?
Read the end of the book, sure, but held, in a faith conquering expectation. The plans God had and has, are as fulfilled, as we make or struggle not.
This world is certainly NOT always unfolding as God would have or plans.
Obviously. Or, makes no sense. No Biblical mandate for this. Superimposed on. Where a lot of ‘old time religion’ needs a jump-start. A re-light the fire and vision. The Word and Power.
“We cannot be shy, prophecy...”. Oh yes. And be clear this the, why or not, God ways are fulfilled.
Not what, God wants. And of course, not sleeping while Globalist think-giants rampage and ravage.
The struggle and paradox, with visions of outworking victory. Bethel's conspicuous step-out is from staring at and madly mapping, blueprint end-times, gobbledygook.
Time up. Charismatic worship. Here and there I can find, manageable. Must be one awkward and odd view for all but… charismatics.
One acknowledgement: I know. But songs for God not man.
